I wanted more time
for the work that matters.
My perspective comes from more than 15 years inside nonprofit work. I serve as Chief Development Officer at Cathedral City Senior Center. Before that, I grew from Development Coordinator to Director of Development at Variety Children's Charity of the Desert.
That work meant managing grants, major donor relationships, reporting, and monthly revenue planning—and keeping the context behind every deadline and next step.
I started exploring better systems and AI because too much time went toward repeated work: reconnecting spreadsheets, rebuilding reports, and tracking down information we already had. I wanted that time back for donors, partners, and the communities we serve.
DevFloHQ grew into the development system I wanted to use: a clearer view of the work, the relationships, and the decisions in front of us.

DevFloHQ was built and tested at Variety, supporting grant management, major donor planning, and monthly cash flow for a team serving underserved children and families across the Coachella Valley.
A tailored Programs implementation
Program information shaped around the team.
Variety also received a custom database built around its program areas. The team could track information across four core programs and coordinate follow-up appointments and assigned notes through a shared dashboard.
That work informs the connected Programs approach: understand the organization's information and reporting needs, then configure or build the appropriate system.
The Programs database was separately scoped custom work; it is not included in the standard Development Core subscription.
